So I’m a lifelong fan of The Wizard of Oz.  I still have the movie poster in the hallway of our apartment.  So naturally, I was super excited to hear about the Oz movie coming out.  THEN when I was at Sephora and saw that Urban Decay had released pallets based on Glinda the Good Witch and Theodora the Wicked Witch. I mean, Wizard of Oz PLUS makeup!??! SIGN ME UP! Sadly, I discovered them right before the wedding madness and wasn’t willing to pay the $45 price tag.  Well then the wedding came and went and I started looking up some reviews/tutorials on the pallets and decided again that I needed one.  I went to the local Sephora and the display was gone….I decided it was not meant to be.  Then I was like, well, I’ll go to Ulta and if it’s not there, I’m not going to bother ordering it online.  All or nothing.  Well, they had an end cap display with about 10-15 of just the Glinda pallets left.  Exactly what I wanted.  **insert angelic chorus**

I’ve never tried any Urban Decay products before so I didn’t have any real expectations. The kit comes with 6 eyeshadows (2 of which are ‘duos’ so technically speaking you get 8), a half size 24/7 eye pencil and a Super Saturated Lip Color. I’m not going to lie, the eyeshadows are not my favorite formula. I feel like the color payoff was not what I was expecting and they were a bit hard to blend. On the other hand, the lip color is the JAM! Not only is the color gorgeous and perfect for me, but the formula is awesome! I’ll for sure be looking to purchase another color or 3 of those suckers.

Let’s be serious, it’s Makeup and The Wizard of Oz….so I’m not mad at it in any way.
