Ok Ladies, don’t laugh. I’m seriously digging Wet n’ Wild eyeshadows lately. No really, don’t laugh. I started hearing a lot about the Wet n’ Wild Color Icon trios and pallets on the ‘beauty blogosphere.’ Everyone had nothing but crazy good things to say about them. Watching videos, the color payoff and blendability of these products seemed to be pretty awesome. Now, I don’t know about you, but I had been under the impression for quite some time that Wet n’ Wild was a throwaway brand. We all know the Revlons, Maybellines, Loreals and Cover Girls are the main drugstore brands that could produce some quality….but Wet n’ Wild?! Only teenyboppers bought that business. But for $2.99, what was the harm in trying. I can’t tell a lie, I was a little ashamed going up to the register with my Wet n’ Wild “Walking on Eggshells” trio. I might have hidden it under my other purchases. But I’m here to tell you, I’m a believer! These eyeshadows are awesome. Like, rival my MAC eyeshadow collection, awesome. The colors are amazing and pigmented, and the shadows blend and build well. I seriously have no bad things to say about them. And for $2.99 for the trios and $4.99 for the 8 pan pallets, you can’t beat it. I’ve even gone so far as to try a blush and bronzer from them as well. I was impressed with those purchases. I’ve even heard good things about their lip products. Moral of the Story: Wet n’ Wild has come a LONG way from being the ‘trash’ makeup brand at the drugstore. They have really upped the quality of their products while maintaining their SUPER affordable pricetag. I now buy my Wet n’ Wild products with pride!
