I loves me a good cream shadow. I like to use them as a base for powder shadows or just a sweep of color on its own for a really easy look. I’ve never had any luck with any drugstore cream shadows. They never seemed to have the staying power and anti-crease formula as my faves from MAC and Benefit….until I discovered the Maybelline Color Tattoos. These things are the business! They have a great selection of mattes, shimmers, metallics, nudes, colors: EVERYTHING Girl! The staying power on these is hella good and I have never had a problem with creasing. They are marketed as a ’24 hour’ wear product and I might even believe it. Here are some swatches of some of the ones I have.

Maybelline just recently put out their Limited Edition Spring shades and I seriously want all of them. They are pastel, irridecent/duo-chrome and downright precious.

If you are a fan of cream shadow, I say get thee to a drugstore and check out some of these bad boys! For about $6-7 a piece, you can’t go wrong!
