National Lipstick Day: My Top 5

Top 5 Lipsticks

Top 5 Lipsticks

So apparently, today is National Lipstick Day. I don’t know who makes these things up but, I’ll play. I thought, to celebrate, I’d do a quick breakdown of my 5 all time favorite lipsticks…and honorable mention lip product to boot!
From Left to Right:
MAC Freckletone – This was my first MAC Lipstick and it’s been a staple of mine ever since. It’s a Lustre formula so it’s not got sparkle but a great deal of shine. I think it’s a perfect nude for any skin tone. Also, depending on what lip liner you are wearing, it takes on a whole new identity.
Dior Rouge Dior 434 Samarcande Brown – This lipstick holds a special place in my heart because it was my wedding day lipstick. Don’t let the ‘Brown’ in the name fool you, it’s really a gorgeous color. Plus, it stayed ALL NIGHT LONG.
Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake – I love all of the Revlon Lip Butters. They have the most awesome texture and just make your lips look and feel plush. When I’m looking for a great ‘my lips but better’, quick out the door lip product, I always grab for this shade.
Maybelline Vivid in Vivid Rose – If you want your lips to BAM!, you need this lipstick. All the Vivids are SUPER opaque and come in some fab colors. This one is my favorite because it’s a super bright pinky red. I think I’ll wear it today!
MAC Red – I’ve talked about this before. It’s perfect. That’s all
Bonus Item: Rimmel Show Off in Nude Eclipse. I have been on the hunt for the perfect fleshy nude lip that did not make me look dead. This is it. It’s not technically a lipstick but it for sure deserved a mention.

So happy Lipstick Day! Rock a Fierce Lip!
