Happy Maleficent Day!

Maleficent

Maleficent

I admit it. I have a Maleficent problem. After Ursula, she’s my favorite Disney character. She has the best makeup and can turn into a freaking dragon! What’s not to love!?! Today, the much anticipated (by me) live action Maleficent movie comes out today and I felt obligated to do a Maleficent inspired look. I used my ELF Maleficent collection that was available around Halloween and popped on my horns from my costume this last Halloween. Basically, the gist of this post is that I’m a dork and felt the need to celebrate the bad-assness that is Maleficent. Thank you for humoring me, FOOLS!!!!!

And because I love the Grumpy Cat:

California Dreamin’

So I’m buying my tickets to IMATS in LA this week and it has seriously got me California Dreamin’. For those of you who don’t know IMATS is the International Makeup Artist Trade Show. This will be my first one to attend and I can’t even wait. I’m going to be in makeup heaven! All this California excitement gravitated me toward my BH Cosmetics California Palettes. BH has three palettes inspired by 3 popular California cities: Hollywood, Malibu, and San Francisco.

Each palette includes 16 eyeshadows and 4 face powders. The quality on these palettes is great and I think I got all three for $18 on a special deal. Check out BH Cosmetics website for deals if you are interested. They are Special Edition so I’m not sure how long they will be available but you can’t beat it for a full face palette.

Anyway, to celebrate my upcoming California adventure, I’m going to be featuring a look from each of these palettes this week. So check in throughout the week to see how I create the Hollywood, Malibu and San Francisco looks!

Check out BH Cosmetics. The quality of the products for the price is fantastic! They are known for their 88 color palettes but they are always coming out with new exciting Special Edition sets. It’s worth checking out.

Savvy Seminars?

I need thoughts from my lovely internet peeps. So my lovely friend April came up with (what I thought) was a fab idea for a new venture. What do you think of Savvy Makeup Seminars? This would not be me coming and doing your makeup but me coming and consulting with you on how to use the makeup you already have. I could come and teach you how to apply makeup, color matching and selection, and give you tips on things you could add to your current makeup collection. This could be done on a one on one basis or get some of your girlfriends together and make a party out of it! Say for $20 a person? Would that be something that would interest you all/be beneficial? I’d love to hear your thoughts on things that you would like to learn more about. Leave me your comments/questions/input on this idea!!

Be Fierce!
